Ingredients

Ingredients: Cake mix (365g): WHEAT flour, sugar, WHEAT starch, maize starch, tapioca starch, raising agents (E450, E500), rice starch, emulsifiers (E471, E475), salt, thickener (xanthan gum), flavourings. Cinnamon sugar (35g): sugar, cinnamon, glucose syrup, burnt sugar, palm fat. May contain EGG and MILK.

Usage

Preparation: Requirements: 1 pack Koopmans Apple Cinnamon Cake, 175 g butter or margarine, 4 eggs (M), 1 large or 1½ small apple (eg Elstar or Jonagold) (everything at room temperature). Kitchen utensils: 30 cm cake tin and a mixer with garden. Preparation about 15 minutes. Baking time 60-75 minutes. Electric oven: 160°C. Fan oven: 150°C. Gas oven: position 2-3. Preparation: 1) Grease the cake tin with butter and dust the inside with flour or use baking spray (eg Dr. Oetker). 2) Place the rack slightly below the center of the oven and preheat the oven. 3) Peel and core the apple and cut the apple into small cubes (0.5-1 cm). Prepare the batter: 4) Beat the 175g butter with the mixer in a mixing bowl until soft and creamy. 5) Add the cake mix and 4 eggs at once. 6) Beat the whole with the mixer on the lowest setting for about 1 minute until smooth. 7) Then beat the batter with the mixer on the highest setting for 2-3 minutes to a light batter. 8) Add the apple pieces and cinnamon sugar to the batter and mix into the batter with a spatula. Baking: 9) Pour the batter into the cake tin and place the cake directly in the oven. 10) Bake the cake for 60-75 minutes until golden brown. 11) Place the cake in the cake tin on a wire rack and let the cake cool for 3-4 minutes. 12) Remove the cake from the mold and let the cake cool further on a wire rack.

Keep cool and dry. Storage tip: Store the cake in a tightly closed container or plastic bag in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. frozen, the cake can be kept for a maximum of 3 weeks (if well wrapped in plastic).
